How much does a dental check-up cost in Dubai?
At Healthpoint, the consultation and dental exam are free for every new patient, adults and children. If the dentist needs an X-ray, you are told the price before it is taken. A professional cleaning can often be done at the same visit and is priced separately.
Why regular check-ups matter
Most dental problems, including early decay and gum disease, do not hurt until they are advanced. Finding them early usually means smaller, simpler and cheaper treatment, such as a small filling instead of a root canal. The dentist tells you how often to come back, usually every six to twelve months depending on your teeth and gums.
Insurance and payment
We work with most insurers that reimburse dental treatment. If your plan covers check-ups, you pay at the clinic and claim it back with the invoice and medical report we give you. Message us your insurer and plan name and we will tell you what to check before your visit, then bring your insurance card when you come. See insurance and payment.
Risks and side effects
- Dental X-rays use a very low dose of radiation. Tell the dentist if you are or might be pregnant.
- An exam cannot find every problem, which is why X-rays are sometimes recommended.
Aftercare
- Brush twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste.
- Clean between your teeth once a day with floss or interdental brushes.
- Limit sugary drinks and snacks, especially between meals.
- Book your next check-up at the interval your dentist recommends.
